SYDNEY — GAMURS Group today announced the successful sale of Upcomer to a digital media company.
The divestment aligns with GAMURS’ broader strategy to streamline its portfolio and concentrate investment behind gaming, sports and Gen Z-focused media. GAMURS operates a portfolio of category-leading gaming and entertainment brands reaching more than 17 million monthly active users across owned-and-operated platforms and generating over 1 billion monthly social impressions.

Following the transaction, GAMURS plans to increase focus on emerging growth initiatives including metaverse gaming, sports video games, Roblox utility products and social-first audience platforms.
